7. Google Ads & Advertising Data Practices

8. Affiliate Marketing & Revenue-Sharing Data Practices
8.1 Affiliate Tracking
When users include affiliate links in content, affiliate networks may use cookies (30–90 day duration) and tracking pixels to track clicks, conversions, and commissions. This tracking is managed by the respective affiliate networks.
8.2 Revenue-Sharing Data
For platform-integrated affiliate links subject to the revenue-sharing arrangement described in our Terms & Conditions, blogiq.ai collects and processes transaction data including click-through rates, conversion amounts, commission calculations, and revenue-split computations. This data is used to calculate each party's share of affiliate revenue and generate payout reports visible in your affiliate dashboard.
8.3 FTC Compliance
Users engaging in affiliate marketing must comply with FTC disclosure requirements. blogiq.ai may provide disclosure tools but users are ultimately responsible for compliance.
8.4 Tax Reporting
For US-based affiliates earning $600 or more in total affiliate revenue (including revenue-share payouts) in a calendar year, blogiq.ai is required to collect tax identification information (SSN or EIN) and issue IRS Form 1099-NEC. This information is stored securely with AES-256 encryption and used solely for tax reporting.

9. Social Media & Publishing Data Practices
9.1 Connected Social Media Accounts
When you connect social media accounts to the Platform for publishing purposes, we collect and store OAuth tokens and basic profile information necessary to publish content on your behalf. We do not access your private messages, friend lists, or other personal data beyond what is required for publishing.
9.2 Publishing Metadata
We collect metadata about content published through the Platform, including publication timestamps, destination platforms, content status (published, scheduled, failed), and basic engagement metrics where available through platform APIs. This data is used to provide publishing analytics and improve the service.
9.3 Token Storage & Security
API tokens and access credentials for connected platforms are stored with AES-256 encryption. You may revoke Platform access to any connected social media or publishing account at any time through your account settings or through the third-party platform's own authorization settings.
