blogiq.ai ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you access and use the blogiq.ai platform, including all associated websites, mobile applications, APIs, publishing integrations, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

  • Publishing Credentials: API keys, access tokens, and login credentials for third-party platforms (WordPress, Blogger, LinkedIn, social media accounts) that you connect for publishing purposes. These are stored encrypted and used solely to facilitate publishing on your behalf.
  • Communications: Messages, support tickets, feedback, and correspondence.
  • Affiliate Program Data: Tax identification information (SSN or EIN for US-based affiliates), payment details for commission payouts, and referral tracking data.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device & Browser Information: IP address, device type, OS, browser type/version, screen resolution, language preferences.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time on platform, click-through rates, blogs generated, content published (including destination platforms), SEO checks performed, credits consumed.
  • Publishing Activity Data: Records of content published or scheduled through the platform to third-party websites and social media platforms, including timestamps, destination URLs, and publishing status.
  • Log Data: Server logs, access times, error logs, referring URLs, and exit pages.
  • Location Data: Approximate geographic location based on IP address.

3.3 Information from Third-Party Sources

  • Single Sign-On (SSO): If you sign in via Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email, and profile picture.
  • Social Media Platform Data: When you connect social media accounts for publishing, we may receive basic profile information and publishing permissions as authorized by you through each platform's OAuth or API authorization process.
  • Analytics & Advertising Partners: Data from Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads, etc. and affiliate tracking platforms.
  • Integration Data: Data from services you connect (WordPress, Blogger, Mailchimp, Zapier), limited to data necessary for the integration.

4. How We Use Your Information

4.1 Providing & Operating the Platform

  • Delivering AI-powered blog generation, SEO analysis, content management, and publishing services.
  • Facilitating content publishing to your website, social media platforms, and third-party blogging platforms.
  • Processing payments, managing subscriptions, and tracking credit usage.
  • Facilitating account creation, authentication, and security.

4.2 Improving & Personalizing Services

  • Analyzing usage patterns, publishing metrics, and content performance to improve Platform features.
  • Developing new features based on user behavior and feedback.
  • Personalizing content recommendations and Platform settings.

4.3 Advertising & Marketing

  • Displaying targeted advertisements through Google Ads and advertising partners on user-generated blog content (where applicable, with consent).
  • Sending promotional emails, product updates, and marketing communications (opt-out available).
  • Measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

4.4 Affiliate Program Administration

  • Tracking referrals, calculating commissions (including revenue-sharing calculations), and processing affiliate payouts.
  • Managing revenue-sharing between blogiq.ai and users for platform-integrated affiliate links.
  • Generating tax documentation (IRS Form 1099-NEC for US-based affiliates earning $600+ in a calendar year).
  • Communicating affiliate program updates, performance reports, and policy changes.

4.5 Legal & Compliance

  • Complying with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests.
  • Enforcing our Terms & Conditions.
  • Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, security issues, and technical problems.

5. How We Share Your Information

When you use the Platform to publish content to your website or social media accounts, the content and associated metadata are transmitted to those platforms through their APIs. This data transmission is necessary to provide the publishing service and is governed by each platform's own privacy policy and terms of service. blogiq.ai does not control how third-party platforms handle your content once published.

5.3 Advertising Partners

If you monetize blog content through advertising, limited data may be shared with ad networks (e.g., Google Ads, Google AdSense) to serve and measure advertisements.

5.4 Affiliate Network Partners

When you include affiliate links in content, certain tracking data (click-through data, referral source, conversion data) may be shared with affiliate networks to track commissions and calculate revenue shares. For platform-integrated affiliate links, blogiq.ai shares necessary transaction data to administer the revenue-sharing arrangement described in our Terms & Conditions.

5.5 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or to protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or comply with legal process.

5.6 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred. We will notify you of any change in ownership or control.

6.2 Managing Cookies

There is currently no uniform standard for DNT signals. blogiq.ai does not currently respond to DNT signals but will update this policy if a standard is adopted.

7. Google Ads & Advertising Data Practices

  • Google and its advertising partners may place cookies on end-user browsers to serve ads based on browsing history and interests.
  • blogiq.ai does not control advertising networks' data collection practices.
  • Users publishing ad-supported content are responsible for privacy disclosures on their published blogs and websites.

8. Affiliate Marketing & Revenue-Sharing Data Practices

8.1 Affiliate Tracking

When users include affiliate links in content, affiliate networks may use cookies (30–90 day duration) and tracking pixels to track clicks, conversions, and commissions. This tracking is managed by the respective affiliate networks.

8.2 Revenue-Sharing Data

For platform-integrated affiliate links subject to the revenue-sharing arrangement described in our Terms & Conditions, blogiq.ai collects and processes transaction data including click-through rates, conversion amounts, commission calculations, and revenue-split computations. This data is used to calculate each party's share of affiliate revenue and generate payout reports visible in your affiliate dashboard.

8.3 FTC Compliance

Users engaging in affiliate marketing must comply with FTC disclosure requirements. blogiq.ai may provide disclosure tools but users are ultimately responsible for compliance.

8.4 Tax Reporting

For US-based affiliates earning $600 or more in total affiliate revenue (including revenue-share payouts) in a calendar year, blogiq.ai is required to collect tax identification information (SSN or EIN) and issue IRS Form 1099-NEC. This information is stored securely with AES-256 encryption and used solely for tax reporting.

9. Social Media & Publishing Data Practices

9.1 Connected Social Media Accounts

When you connect social media accounts to the Platform for publishing purposes, we collect and store OAuth tokens and basic profile information necessary to publish content on your behalf. We do not access your private messages, friend lists, or other personal data beyond what is required for publishing.

9.2 Publishing Metadata

We collect metadata about content published through the Platform, including publication timestamps, destination platforms, content status (published, scheduled, failed), and basic engagement metrics where available through platform APIs. This data is used to provide publishing analytics and improve the service.

9.3 Token Storage & Security

API tokens and access credentials for connected platforms are stored with AES-256 encryption. You may revoke Platform access to any connected social media or publishing account at any time through your account settings or through the third-party platform's own authorization settings.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

10.1 Right to Know

You may request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sources, business purposes, and third parties with whom information was shared.

10.2 Right to Delete

You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions (completing transactions, legal compliance, fraud detection).

10.3 Right to Correct

You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.

10.4 Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

blogiq.ai does not sell personal information. To the extent targeted advertising may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA, you may opt out by contacting support@blogiq.ai.

10.5 Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

16. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions where applicable). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
